Well, many of you or none of you know, that Home Alone 1 &2 are the very special movies that reserves a special place in my heart. And for the Kempers who were still missing Christmas Spirit 2 days before Christmas, we thought to go feel more Christmas spirit. Where do we go? …Midtown! Where in Midtown!? The places in Home Alone 2 while we are still in NY!

1st stop, FAO Schwarz. The toy store in the movie, but I just read on websites that the toy store actually doesn’t exist! Ohhhh well! The store was fun anyways! Here are some photos I took there.

So many giant version of candies we are used to seeing. It looks fun but it was like screaming, Welcome to diabetes-hood!!

Jio right by candies. I was tempted to get those old fashion looking candies, but, I don’t really like them anyways. And, hard to know which ones are vegan :P Jio, these are for the cute look, not for the taste, for the Kempers :P

A thief was distracting me, but ain’t it crazy how much veggies and fruits $15 gets you at Mr.Coco!?

I got…cocktail tomatoes($.50), grape tomatoes($1.49), 5 organic bananas($1.72), 3 stalks of organic broccoli($1), a head of organic lettuce($1), 5 zucchinis($1), 5 peppers($1), 3 lemons($1),a bunch of kale ($1.09) a bag of radishes($2),  black berry($1), and a box of strawberry($2.99)!

Since I went with Jio in ergo, I was dying by the time we got home! So heavy, but so happy! And I left a bag of radish out and came back to find Jio nibbling one, totally in her mouth and about 10 other radishes everywhere on the floor!

ラディッシュをすぐにしまわなかったら、一つはじおの口の中でかじられ、１０個ぐらいはばらばらにそこらじゅうに転がってるという事態に。袋閉まってたのによく開けたな〜。感心。しかもラディッシュ上手に一個全部口に入れてた。これまた感心。好きなんだろうか〜。

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh myyyyyyyyyy Gawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwd

It was AMAZING!!!!!!! I had been craving brownie, but I knew I couldn’t make it sweet enough to satisfy me if I make my own, because I’m a chicken when it comes to sugar amount in my baking :P But the packaged vegan brownie was $4 for a piece, so I didn’t buy it.

Then I found this at Whole Foods at 2nd Ave! Only $1.99! It’s pretty big and looked super yummy, and, it WAS super yummy! It’s dangerous how convenient it is that we can get this at Whole Foods on 2nd Ave. I love love love this brownie, recommend!!!

It’s super dangerous… but they don’t always have it, so, I guess Whitney just have to get it everytime they have it! It would be our lucky day! Ahhh I can’t tell you enough how much I liked this! Whitney, puuuuuuuuuuweeeeeeze feed me these when we are going insane with a newborn baby in the near future!

Weeeeelll, we just happened to have bought almond ice cream even before we found the brownie! So we toasted the brownie and topped it with it :6

Good ingredients! It’s not a mile long either, love it! :)

I had been craving cinnamon rolls for about a week, I have a recipe, but it’s not quite as satisfying, I guess it’s bad when I make it, I make too many and I end up eating most of them, and also, I’m not brave enough to put as much sugar or oil as the recipe suggests, and again, it’s not as satisfying! :P

Today I went to LifeThyme again (my new favorite favorite store! They have so many vegan sweets there! …danger!) and one of the many vegan sweets, it was cinnamon rolls! I had to try it!

It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!! Heavenly, I may even say! Good thing I was with Whitney, otherwise, I would’ve totally ate the whole thing by myself :)

Such Good ingredients! I’ll be back for more! :P

I saw this at Whole Foods on sale for $3, and I remembered thinking a few weeks ago, “Hm, I’m craving pot pie but I probably have to make a vegan one to eat it…” Then I found it! So I got excited and decided to give it a try.

After anxiously waiting for about 50 minutes.

Well, it was a bit disappointing for me, it wasn’t satisfying to me. I would put more herbs and more flavors to it. But I guess it was good enough, I’m not craving a pot pie anymore, but I would just buy a vegan pie crust and make my own next time, it did give me a good idea to make my own! :) Thanks for the inspiration!

Bagels Sunday, again. I wanted to try this place in Gramercy but perfectly L train was not running today so I had to make a change! But as always, Bergen Begels made me smile, Biiiiig. :) Today we shared a whole wheat everything with Tofu lox, and another whole wheat everything with Tofu scallion.

Then we made a trip to Soho and Chinatown, and ended up coming home later than we planned, and ate a late lunch at 3:30.

I made the shanghai style inspired noodles again. It’s so good! I did put too much hot sauce on it though :P
