Just ate subway subs,
Subway here in Puerto Rico has guac! The best thing ever! I would eat the veggie sub more often if American ones had guac too.
Anyways, we had our lunchie, now waiting for our next and the last flight in an hour, then, here we comeee beachies!
Whitney trying to catch up on his nap.
We’ve been up since 4 today!
Yum yum yum.
As you can see, a little lonely looking meal, but it’s ok, we had a grapefruit and soy ice cream sandwich for dessert!
We had shumai that I froze last week, and okra with gojujan sauce, and veggie pancake!
I’ll share the recipe soon! :)
We’re almost there! Going to St. Croix in …3 days!
So I’m still trying to use all the veggies in the refrigerator.
And the most I have is green onions.
Miso soup with green onions, onions, sea weed and tofu
Green onions in rice pepper pan fried in sesame seed oil / bean sprout namul in rice paper
Watercress with dried oyster mushroom in Basil sauce
I used the dried mushroom for the first time. It’s very chewy and good. I lovr the fresh ones but this is good when I have no fresh one, and the broth would be really good!
I made up the recipe for the rice paper dish but there’s room for improvement, so I won’t share it yet! :P
And lunch! Leftover and green onion pancake!
Never knew how many things I can do with green onions and how much I love green onions! ;)
Did I hear anyone say that’s too much?
Yeah yeah yeah, but it’s perfect amount for this big tummy :P
Currently I’m on a project to use as much vegetables as possible before we leave the house for a week! I say I’m doing pretty good, except, I have way too much green onions … cuz I had totally forgotten about the refrigerator situation!
I’ll try hard!
