So much faster, so much more salt.
I wonder how different from real bruschetta recipe! I just made up the recipes tonight!

Turned out great, made the kempers quiet, that’s how we eat when the food is good! :)

We got married.
So happy we met each other. Couldn’t have asked for more, couldn’t be more perfect.
Lots more years to come!

This year, we went to restaurant called bond St. in Soho, it’s not a vegetarian restaurant but has some vegan dishes on menu

It was too dark for pictures but we had heirloom tomato and tofu salad (amazing! Wish there were more tofu! Chubby thoughts ), nasu dengaku(so so good!) umesoba with vegetable broth (yummy, interesting! ) and veggie sushi plate, reeeally good!

And on the way home, we picked up vegan cake at whole foods.
We’ll have a big kemper day tomorrow!

I meant to come home sooner, but I tend to stay with the kitties I’m looking after for my friend, longer than I plan!

So today I made lotus root kimpira, my FAVORITE dish from my childhood, that my mom made the best of, I took a pic while cooking them, cuz it looked so cute!

Spinach namul, that I put 6 times more garlic than the recipe suggests,

And porkless pork soup (butajiru) with my favorite dried mushroom.

So here’s how you make the mushroom steak,

1. Wash the mushroom, wipe dry

2. Make the mixture of 3 tbsp of whole wheat flour, sea salt, seasoned salt and pepper

3. Dip the mushroom in the powder mix, cover all the surface

4. Heat up a pan, pour 3 tbsp of olive oil, a pinch of sea salt, put sliced garlic, and cook the garlics til they brown, take them out to side

5. Now add the mushroom, cook on low heat, turn and cook the other side.

Serve with the garlic slices you put aside.

Cook in low heat, so it takes a while, but it’s really good! You could put it in a bun too :)

It was super good, out of this world, if I may say so myself!

This time I added jalapenos, yum yum yummyz.

And I also added jalapenos in the veggie pancake too.
Made me sweat!

It was the best one I’ve made!
