The Fanciest Dinner I’ve Ever Had!
January 17, 2010 – 9:55 pmThank you, whitney! :)
Awesomely, Coincidentally, the name of the course was “Hana” -Flower, and, my name!
Osechi Box
Clear Soup with Grilled Mochi
And this is what I would look like if I were a ghost eating it.
And Ghost Whitney’s hand.
I guess you can tell this Kempers are not so used to having this fancy course dishes, we had a lot of free time between each amazing dishes :P We usually get into food and won’t even look at each other. But in between dishes, we were forced to actually look at each other and talk to each other with these meals! We even took pictures of each other, right? :P lol
Lotus Root Isob-Yaki
Just so you know, they give you 3 of these, not 2.
House-made Soba Noodles
Ankake Tofu and Tempura
Steamed Multi Grain Rice with Lily Bulbs, White Miso soup with Sake-Kasu Nama-fu, House-made Pickled Vegetables
And we had Steamed Manju Re Bean Paste 蒸し饅頭, which we completely forgot to take a photo of.
and the last thing, Matcha with Rakugan candies by Kyoto Kagizen Yoshifusa
Notice several things are missing in all of the pictures, we were too eager to eat, we kept forgetting taking photos before we eat! :P Even though! Whitney was like “Of course! I will remind you to take a picture!”
Right. Yeahhhh Right. I was the one who remembered in the middle of eating, “Ahh! Picture!! You said you’ll remind me!!”
That’s the Kempers.
Too eager to eat.
But, look how pretty they all are, and they were all so delicious!
This is the whole course explanationg kind of thing, with Whitney’s beautiful finger tips
It’s definitely not the kinda place you go every week, but an Amazing place for occasions like anniversaries, and, birthday, ahem. I enjoyed each dish, they change the course every month, so I’d love to come back! Please keep working hard, whitney, so we can afford it! :P Thank you so much, Whitney! I love you so!
Anyways, I thought you wanted this info
Kajitsu-Shojin Cuisin
And, Magician Whitney.
